It all started with a crazy Idea of a few Trainees: how it would be to develop a Videogame for a Console?
A few of us already had a little Knowledge of programming some Fan-games based on beloved IP’s.
Our first idea: a Videogame inspired by the Graphic-Style of the Nintendo-Game „The Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past“ and we called it „The World of Generations“! Our Idea was to combine the Ocean from „The Windwaker“ and the World above the Clouds from „Skyword Sword“ in an Open-World-setting. Crazy to think that this Set of Ideas may come back in Form of „The Legend of Zelda Tears of Kingdom“ released in 2023: we was ahead the time *wink smiley*
We never finalize this Idea of „The World of Generations“ to a Product, but this Idea and our on-going Development Material was the Key to the Videogame Developer-Business! We pitched our Development Material to the Big Players: in 2016 to Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America and in 2017 to Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo Co., Ltd., Nintendo of Korea Ltd. and Team Xbox from the Microsoft Company.
In Summary: we visited the E3 2016 in Los Angeles, we got the License from Nintendo for Wii U and 3DS-Productfamily in 2016 (for Europe, Australia, New Zealand and US) and followed by Licenses from Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 3 and PSVita in 2017 (for Europe). In 2017 we also build up a Network of Development-and-Publishing Partners around the World.
In 2018 we expand our Partnerships with the Big Players for other Platforms, Engines and Territories, we also was one from a few of the early adopters Developers/Publishers for Nintendo Switch-development in Europe.
Since 2018, we are using our gained Experience in the Area of developing Videogames for modern Console-Platforms and all the Licensing-Stuff to helping other Developer Studios to bring their creative Ideas and Projects to Platforms like Nintendo Switch. We are also providing Support for all Developer Studios that cannot receive Devkits directly from Nintendo Group.
In 2023 we re-started the initial Sample Text Studios-project under a new Name: unperfekt.Games!
